Default Another XR6 :) but with EL Goodies

As I know most of us love my eBay finds so here is another one - and for those who dont - "sucks to be you" and go cry about it :

Has done well with this car - repainted in Blueprint

EL interior - bit grubby - could of gone EL Ghia

EL motor - nicely done

Soom Boom to go with his Bang

I do like this photo of the KLMS, are they original klms for the change of dash and change of engine?

He done a good job of getting rid of the wires from along the fire wall.
the EAs - EDs had a head of wires and 2/3 big looms and they looked crappy.

He should have gone for a proper XR front rather than the twinlights. EL Fairmont/Ghia seats would suit that car perfectly too.

It's not too hard, I only had to lengthen mine a little bit and then tucked them all down behind the motor/trans tunnel. I agree tho they do look crappy with all the loom hanging there!

Not a bad car, a few things I don't like but overall he's done a good job. I don't like the C pillar trim bit colour coded or the fake twinlights.

I'd tap... er, buy that. Nothing a nose cone change to a genuine job wouldn't fix. The bodywork's been tastefully done and it's in a popular colour to respray an E.
Got the linkyage on you, Sorted?
You mentioned it's an XR6, but there's no badging that I can see to suggest that.
Pity I'm after an 8!

I noticed what looks to be a plate fitted to the firewall for the clutch cable too!

(Something that sticks out to me as I've fitted one to my EL.)

How do ya think he woulda got his intake manifold to be that colour? Sandblasting? Painted? Looks cool being that dark...

It looks standard to me but if you want some options try getting yours sand blasted and either painted or powder coated. Or you could get it polished and possibly chromed.
