They come in $600 p/a cheaper than the lowest quote I've found so far for my car (65% NCB, no infringements etc). That's a huge amount.
I've been searching for reviews for them and have come across a couple which aren't too encouraging. Not enough info on their website for me to be comfortable going with them and from what I've read their phone number is only a help desk to navigate around the website? I'd be more at ease actually speaking with someone and having a live person answer any questions I have etc. Will keep looking around and see what I can find. If it's all good then it's a bargain....if it's not good then ultimately it could cause a lot of grief. |

I'm with this mob and a bit unsure, as they tried to get out of a claim for a replacement windscreen by telling me that I didn't have the reduced windscreen excess ($40), which I DID! Without the reduced excess I was looking at $400.
And get this, they wanted me to forward them scanned copies of my own policy hard-copy via email to verify this - WTF!!! Those same details are not on the computer screen in front of them??? : Lost a bit of confidence in them after this. They are cheap though!

Their site alone looks like a scam site. Their policies sound a bit wierd.
I'd avoid. Edit: can anyone find who their underwriters are?

Their underwriters are now Lloyds. I received a letter not too long ago explaining the change to Lloyds.
Taken from the PDS: This insurance policy is Insurance Council of Australia’s General Insurance Code of Practice compliant, apart from any claims adjusted outside Australia. Underwriters at Lloyd’s proudly support the General Insurance Code of Practice. The purpose of the Code is to raise standards of practice and service in the general insurance industry.

They look dodgy,
They dont even recognise my car as have a ZF in it, just assumed its a manual. Not even saving me money over what i am paying now anyway.

I wouldn't change to a company like that. I'd rather pay a higher premium for better service.

Just remember kids, you get what you pay for.
Lloyds are an overseas insurance underwriter - Lloyds of London.

They wouldn't even insure my car... and only told me this after completing the online quote.
Now, they won't stop spamming my inbox, trying to convince me to insure with them. : : |
