Default Buying a BMW in melbourne

Anyone here have any experience with buying a BMW in melbourne? Do the dealerships generally take care of their customers, and are they known to throw in a few extras if you buy a brand new car? Any recommended ones? cheers.

Yep - the swiss. But you would need to go onto a swiss cheese forum to find out specifics. Ohhh, I get your point!

Yeah they take care of their customers. Free courtesy car when your car is in for a service. Everyone I know who has dealt with them, have had a good experience.

"Free" courtesy car....

No doubt their service is excellent though, or else they'd never maintain a prestige reputation.

I found Doncaster to be good for servicing - but I think the manager I dealt with has left. Menere's is pretty good too for servicing, but treated me like a nobody when I bought my 5. The age ol' "what is he driving now, oh, a Ford, can't afford our cars" mentality was shown to me. Somethings never change... But def. good for servicing though.

Have owned a few and got wifes' latest 325i bought from Stillwell, who seemed more willing to offer a lower price than the others.

As for servicing, I used Melbourne a few times before Doncaster opened up the one in Fairfield. Experiences with both have been great.

My Parents own an X5 they got from Melbourne.

We get the car serviced there, there is a guy who lives near us who when we need a service will pick the X5 up and give us a loaner ( most of the time a 3 series coupe too), then drive the X5 back to our house and swap cars over.

Now that is service.
