Default I mean..., realy..., C'mon WTF am I doing wrong ?

I mean..., realy..., C'mon WTF am i doing wrong ?
Have you ever asked your self this question, or have you looked into the clouds and shouted out WHY ME ? Run over a China man, had a black cat pass in front of you, walked under a ladder ?

All of this I have asked myself latley with all the crap going on for no apparent reason. Simple tasks have turned into nightmares, other people have been totally unreliable. I could give you details but I would be here for a few days writing.

Anyone out there in the same boat and having a mega bad run of late. My run of crap has been going on for 9 years now for no fault of my own. Just pure bad luck since having my first heart attack at age 26. I can't seem to think of any good luck or many good times in that period.

Hope someone out there is worse off. if not i want to claim the world record.

Nup, was fit as and healthy and got a virus that attacked my heart.
And it's been all down hill from there.

Yep B Mobile. I have been having that OVERWHELMING feeling of late, just like you keep getting kicked in the nuts and can't get back up.

Now before others post replies, I know that there is always someone worse off than I am, and I do appreciate that. But in answer to the direct question, yes I often look up and go "WTF??".

So I hear ya' brother and vent away, this is why we are here !!

positive attitude = luck

negitive attitude = no luck

As far as attitudes go, I tried the whole life is great nothing get me down all is good and looked at the positive side of everything. But that only lasted 18months and it was a crap 18months with no return other than to prolong my pain.

Lets just look at my day today for an example ; Blew 3rd gear in my daily driver, no warning, just blew, not enough to put me out of action just me off getting it from 2nd to 4th.
Had a job lined up at Council and was going to start 2 mondays ago, but they had internal issues so posponed the start date. then posponed it again and again, then canned it all together today.
Yesterday saw a holed fuel tank.
Day before that found out i was ripped off on egay for $51
Day before that signed up for bobcat course and paid the full $'s and then they canned it till 1st June and won't refund.
Day before that computer crashed and had to reinstall everthing
Had to build a shed, a 2 day job and now into 5th day and still not done.

Yep seems every day another thing to add to the list.

I've noticed life seems to go through phases. Crap phase then a decent phase and so on.

If your always miserable you sure your not suffering depression or something like that? When your always ****ed off you seem to always attract bad luck. When your happy you seem to not care about bad things that do happen.

Sorry to hear of your bad run of luck.
In relation to the bobcat course, if you have booked and paid in advance and the course is postphoned through no fault of yours, then i would think the training centre is obliged to give a refund.

Sorry to hear that things arn't going well mate.

I have recently gotten through a few time with family, friends, jobs, and health. I am now on the up with a lovely GF and a great job, while still doing well at uni.

I never though there was light at the end of the tunnel for a long time, but trust me, there is!

We all go through phases or cycles, just like the weather I guess.

Maybe you need to talk to someone other than just us on the other side of a computer screen..... or take up boxing???

Yep I know what you mean, have been to the ward at Brisbane with the sick kids. Went with a mate as he does the Camp Quality Puppets at the ward. We had a blast and was a good felling making the kids laugh in such tough times.
I know I'm doing it tough, but those kids are doing it worse as they have not lived life yet and are allready in battle. If you click on the link below in my sig line you will see I am making an effort to help support these kids in such tough times in there life.

My life is good when I compare.

Almost exactly the same...

BUT in my case, some is attitude and outlook, while some things are complete and utterly unfair and beyond my control.

The things that are beyond my control cannot be changed, and therefore I've had to change my outlook on life to basically work my way around it.

It is about attitude.

Q. "why me God, why me?!"

A. "because you sh_t me"

I know this doesn't help much in blatant tangible terms, but there is a lot to be said for the old practice of solving problems you are capable of solving and leaving the unsolveable to God. A simple acceptance of these terms will free you up sigificantly and a degree of success will follow.

The combined weight of a heavy heart and the world on your shoulders will eventually succumb to gravity that will pull you down to the gutter unless you take knocks in your stride

I often feel that way.

"Why was I born with a rare heart condition, requiring surgeries for the rest of my life and doctors and students always wanting to look at me"

"What did I do to not get payed when I had no money at all and the rent was due"
etc etc.

I have been in hospital for depression.

I must say but, a lot of mine has been self inflicted. I am the worst person in the world with money. Instead of saving I always have to have the nice things now, even if it means struggling for the next week, hoping to my pay comes in or a bill stays away. I am seeking help but. I have a family and although I can see what I am doing is wrong I don't seem to be able to stop. In turn this makes you have the feeling of "Why me"

how eerie

a guy i used to work with last year had come into our office the other week to collect $50 bucks that we owed him for making up some brackets for us on the side. He seemed to always be the most pessimistic guy, a union guy, but always easy to talk to even if he often didn't say much. Told us he had a week's holiday coming up, was looking forward to it as he'd had a bit of a rough time of late (nothing in particular he reckoned, no seperation from the wife, job was safe and so on) and couldn't wait to just relax a bit.

Last saturday before he was due to return to work on the monday he was found dead. Had committed suicide. Nobody really knows why at this point, its so sad.

Chin up, i just wish he was still around to see how his life has affected everyone else. Wife especially, followed by his workmates and friends.

well ya cant always say chin up. because sometimes it all just sux . but never mind ponder on. sometimes it's all ok. think of all the puns and jokes you've heard about it .

atleast one down time i've had i can laugh about today. ( blueballs) ever wondered what causes thaT. ?? THIS HAPPENED TO ME about 4 years ago . went to my male doctor , who happened to be sick, and i very attractive indian young female doctor with striking green eyes stands in for the day, i limp in with sore nuts, only to have to show the lovely doc. then she explains that i have an infection from get this ( shooting backwards) anyhow off to get a scan of the scrotum , now picture this , hobble into the scanning room , nice 20 something female rubbing gel around scrotum, me thinking of plane crqashes and elephants at the zoo. results . all good , medical term for blue balls .
moral of the story . it aint all rosy. but it's all part of life . and sometimes its great.
anyways . if nothing else hope some get a laugh out of this .
