Default What is the US equivalent to the LS Focus?

Anyone know?

2005 LS CL - what is the US equivalent?
I keep looking at US catalogues but am never sure if their 2005 Focus is the same as ours. (ZX3 , 4, 5 . . .?)

ZX3 is a 3 door or coupe as they like to call it, and the ZX4 and ZX5 are the sedan and hatch models respectively. I get lost when searching for parts and information about Focus' from the states, so I tend to stick to either the limited info we have here in Aus or from Europe.

AFAIK, they have no equivalent. The LS platform was never released in the US. Their Focus is based on the old LR platform.

^ that is correct. There is no equivalent.

The LS onwards was not released in the US. Their latest models do run the same engine as us, but don't count on their aftermarket engine parts fitting out cars, due to slight differences. For instance, our throttle body is electronic, but theirs is still cable driven. And the CAI's don't necessarily fit due to different engine bay styling / design.

Thanks Dudes.

So, would you have a look at this web site for me and tell me what you think?
Suitable for the LS or not?
