Default SuperClubby?

I'd never even heard of it before.

Look at the date of that video, May 2009. There's been a thread on this already.

Don't watch Top Gear Australia? It was on there.

Warranty is apparently an issue on these. Need to read the fine print.

Pretty cool how they supercharge the Clubby none the less.

Sorry, didn't realise their was already a thread on it. I searched before I posted but couldn't find anything. I do watch TG, must've missed it...:
What's the point of the W427 if this is almost half the price and quicker?

Edit: Just realised, I did miss an episode, must've been this one.

427 is a factory car with full warranty. This beast is more like an aftermarket car, and doesn't have full warranty.

Later in the video he said if you get rid of some options:

Rims/Tyres= $13,000
Brakes= $6,000
Bonnet Scoop= $2,000
Spoiler?

It'll end up costing about $80k.

Cheers, Anthony

All those things are necessary at those power levels.
If you break anything that can be blammed on the mods you pay to fix it.....
Pulled over by the EPA...? good luck...

Its an aftermarket modified R8...

Fair enough. Although I don't really see the point in the bonnet scoop.
So it has warranty for the supercharger itself, but if anything else happens to break (compliments of the S/C)- too bad...?

I think, Holden will only cover the car for things not related to the modification of engine. As for Walkinshaw, they only cover failure of the parts they installed.

Sorry, I didnt get that far in, lol.
Its a pretty cheap supercharger kit then, only 10k on top of the price of the car. And you get the clutch as well from the WD40.

It was actually quicker around a race track without the 22's & the bonnet scoop isn't necessary. Brakes with the power for sure.

Isn't it done by Walkenshaw?
