Default Concours Docklands

Hey Guys,

I have had a look at our club web site and there isn't alot written about the concours. Can anyone please shed some more light on it for me please as i would like to enter the GT-P in it this year.

Cheers,

Greg.

G'Day,

Umm... the day is in by 9am and you cannot leave until (I think) 2:30pm - i don't have the exact times handy.

Judging will be done throughout the day.

I don't know the exact categories, Keith can answer that one....... maybe email him?

cheers,

Asking a genuine question here, isn't concours meant to be 100% original as it left the factory, in condition and fitment of parts, ie no modified parts?

I could be wrong though

Found my own answer, Concours means the car must be 100% original as they way it left the factory, no mods at all, is this show show going to be judged that way or is just a car show ?

I spoke to a couple of my customers re this and they were interested, but 1 is concerned as he has extractors and exhaust fitted to his early GT and believes it does not qualify for Concours.

Ratter, you are quite right in what you are saying about Concours as an event but this is more of just our annual club show/display but call it this as it sounds a little better than just car show and the cars are judged a little higher than a show/display. Generally this is for club members only or people who may be interested in joining the club and is only for FPV, Tickford or XR vehicles.

Cheers
Sean

What a sensational day it was..........

Thanks to everyone who came along- makes the hoops we have to jump through worth it!!!

Numbers were down on last year, but maybe due to us near floating away in last year's downpour a few were wary........

What a killer location for a car show! Much better than some dusty old footy oval.

Nice pics too.
