Hi. From the "injectronics" web site for the AU
As with the EF and EL Falcons, the AU Falcon has a small light in the shape of a spanner that illuminates in the lower left hand corner of the dash panel when the vehicle is due for next service. The procedure to remove the service light and reset it for the next service interval is simple and Injectronics recommend to follow this procedure: Turn ignition on (don't start engine) Hold down the reset shaft for between 11 and 13 seconds An audible beep will be heard after the shaft has been released to indicate that the command has been received and the light should go out. Note: If the button is held down too long or not long enough, the spanner light will not clear. Cheers MD

For some reason, the AU's seem to be time sensitive. EF/EL's you can hold the button in and wait for the beep before releasing it. AU's you have to release it before it beeps , try 12 or 13 seconds, may take a few tries to get it to work.

Turn it on so that all the dash warning lights are on, don't start it. Hold the button in until it resets.

Isn't it ironic that such a 'modern' car uses an open ended spanner for a service indicator?

Hello once again,
I must be sending my messages to the wrong section so I will try again. I need a 90mm air flow sensor to fit on my EB2 5lt with an upgraded AU series 3 XR8 heads, cam & exploerer manifold. The only place on the net is from the USA . Herrod Austrlia don;t have them anymore. If I get one from there do they wire straight into my conversion.Any help please Thanks from keno49 |

start your own thread. In your case probably best in the Post Classic XD to EL section here: http://www.fordforums.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=29 Use a good title such as "EB2 5lt 90mm air flow sensor needed" Last edited by AMB; 08-08-2012 at 02:18 PM. |

In my Series 1 Futura, I have the key on accessories, and simply hold the button in until it beeps. The icon disappears as it beeps. I don't count or anything. I just keep the button depressed until the beep. GK

Series 1 ghia . Tried lots , only thing that worked was ...
Turn ignition to Acc . Hold button for 12 seconds ( using stopwatch on iPhone ) . Release button , spanner gone with audible beep Simply holding it never worked until it left .
