2011 fiesta WT engine noise

Hi guys, I just bought new fiesta for 3 weeks, it was filled by 91 fuel, today just moved to 95 fuel, it always sound piping from inside of engine, like something knocking "da da da...."

should I go to the dealer or just wait for while?

One more question, how much for fitting new wheels and do a balance?

1. Take it to the dealer to check it out.
2. Wheels/Balance - Check with your local tyre shop. Prices vary and most offer free fitting/balancing if you buy wheels/tyres from them.

It could be pre ignition/pinging. Some people have found 98 fixes it, others like me have found no improvement. Try taking it back to the dealer and let the run around begin....

checked by myself today, the noise from inside of engine sounds like "da da da", and I put on N gear with bit gas, the sound with no changed.

Did some research on chinese forums, that is common problem, this sound is from "fuel electronic valve" which are used to control fuel spray.

And as well, part of noise from timing belt (steel belt).

BTW, I ordered 4 ford original alloy wheels from china, with shipping only cost me $320.....It takes 40 days to arrive.....

I also bought some parts suck as windows side metals, mud flaps, a/c air filter(ford and mazda, they don't fit the a/c air filter in the car, which is located next to driver side, under the shift bar)

Wow. Seems neat. That looks like the 16x6.5 15 spoke ford alloy. $320 is a bargain then if they are genuine.

Side tracking a little. Have you ever tried to remove the air filter. It's damn more difficult than it needs to be

Also, how hard were the chrome trims to install? I heard they were seriously hard to do. Do they do the trims for hatchbacks too?

I saw the URL on one of the pics and decided to do a bit of digging around. It turns out it comes off a Chinese eBay equivilant Taobao.

A few things that caught my eye:
Rubber boot mat = 70.00元/~AU$10.60
Stainless Steel door scuff plates, set of 4 = 33.00元/~AU$5.00
Box thingy that fits in the cup holder behind the handbrake = 130.00元/~AU$19.70
Foglight Chrome Surrounds = 15.00元/~AU$2.25
Foglights = 35.00元/~AU$5.30
Leather Keyfob Holder = 25.00元/~AU$3.80
WT Zetec Front Grille = 99.75元/~AU$15.10
Unpainted Hatchback rear spoiler = 142.50元/~AU$21.60
Chrome Zetec Window Trims = 50.00元/~AU$7.60
They come in a set of 4, but it looks like it's not a full Zetec conversion as it's missing the trim piece for the front window winglets and rear window winglets
WT LX 4x100 15" Rims = 308.00元/~AU$46.65
WT Zetec 4x100 16" Rims = 370.00元/~AU$56.05

With the spoiler, Chrome trim front grille, chrome window trims, 16" rims and Foglights with chrome surrounds, you could pretty much turn your CL/LX into a Zetec, cosmetically without the side skirts.
No Bluetooth audio converison kits and Zetec sports suspension kits, sorry guys

There seems to be a paypal equivilant guaranteed payment system in place over there, something along the lines of payment held in escrow during the transfer.
Fed-ex shipping from China to Australia is very cheap. Seems to be cheaper than any other country.

Almost seems too good to be true it seems...

None of the stuff there can be Genuine FoMoCo stuff, unless it quite literally fell off the back of a truck if you get my drift... So not sure if they'll screw you for warrenty on it.

Some of products from ford service department, it is easy to get it out if ur friend works there, some spoilers are genuine but unpaint, side chrome is aftermarket with great quality if u can find right seller

Jerry? do you actually know any of those suppliers in China? If you do, i have a family friend who regularly ships stuff from Shenzhen to his office in Kingsgrove, Sydney for his business and he's happy to bundle stuff into those shipments too.

We can just have the sellers from TaoBao ship the items to his address in Shenzhen, then he can arrange for the shipping from Shenzhen to Sydney.

We can probably arrange for a group buy to further bring the shipping costs down.

It's just one major concern is that I know Ford build Fiestas in China too and some googling points to the fact that the Chinese Fiestas are slightly different from the Australian spec WT Fiestas. Though no amount of googling will tell me exactly where the differences are.

I don't think that is good idea, because that only benefit to people who live in SYD, I used ocean shipping from shanghai, china which is charged by weight, therefore it takes 40 days to arrive mel, the point is that this shipping method is very cheap and door-door delivery by post office in AUS, anywhere....

If anyone need help with that, I am happy too....BTW i live in mel

Yea, definately waiting on that with bated breath. Converting a CL/LX to Zetec for ~AU$150 seems almost too good to be true.

Care to share the link to the 8 piece chrome window trim too?

Also, with those rims, it's AU$320 for all 4 rims with shipping? Are they really OEM? The rear of those rims looks weird... looks a bit thin...

One can only imagine what the quality, fit and finish is for such cheap pieces (that's if they arrive at all).
And I don't understand why you would want to 'rice' up a CL with extra plastic parts: just like those base model Commodores that get the shocking fake HSV kits whacked on at dealerships like Suttons to shift them to gullible buyers - they're still slow V6 automatics.... and yes Caydus, those wheels don't look the real deal: would you be keen on placing your $18K car on a set of unknown quality rims from another country with zero warranty and recompense if something goes wrong? I wouldn't.

These are the rims I'm talking about. In this picture, they look like the real deal. The same as the ones on my car.

The rest of the parts aren't load bearing, unlike the rims, which should be OK. The spoiler, the front air dam, stainless steel door scuff plates and chrome window trims should be fine if they fit right.
I bought some mud spats from China and they're pretty dead on with the moulding.

The other unknown factor would be the fog lights. They still connect into the electrical systems of the car and if they aren't sealed properly, could still be pretty bad...

At the end of the day, if we leave out the rims and fog lights to be safe, cosmetically, the car is still missing the skirts and seat fabrics (doesn't matter if you have seat covers). Partially cosmetically we'll still be missing the sports suspension and functionally, missing the Bluetooth audio and USB functionality to make it a Zetec.

I reckon you could probably get better aftermarket suspension packages than the stock Zetec ones and further down the track, we can start pulling head units out of Zetec wrecks.
