pretty amazing these new phones, i would`nt mind one, but being a clumsey old codger i wonder how many times you could drop one before it`s toast, my young brother(tech head),
tells me many of these new phones and in particular the i phones "allegedly" are very prone to drop damage due to the very thin screen glass, can you buy a protective pouch/case for them ??

Didn't really see anything there that I cared about. The only thing that may sort of be interesting to me was the breakdown of data and setting caps. The multitasking tab looked pretty much the same as the tablet version that I rarely use.

If it comes with performance benefits, that'd probably be the only reason I'd bother updating.

I,m with you Mik, so much so that I went and got myself one of those workmans phones. They bounce, are waterproof and hopefully codger proof. Plus, who needs all that technology anyway, it's just another way for the scammers to attack you and for you to get hit by a bus because your attention isn't where it should be, not to mention the very real potential for all your movements and online activity to be tracked. No thanks, I just want a phone to make phone calls and maybe the odd SMS, the rest of it is too dangerous for my liking.

yeah i`m thinking along the same lines Bushbasher, there was an article on yahoo talking about the increased risk of using banks and having personal details on these phones,
and not to mention my spate of clumsiness in the last couple of days , i`ve bounced the old nokia off the cement and the bloody thing still works like a beuty , i think i`ll be getting another old style phone also.

I thought this thread was about a new speed camera app on Samsung phones.

I watched the live stream of the release of the new Galaxy Nexus. Some impressive features I must say. But not enough for me to upgrade from my current Samsung Galaxy S2.

Waiting for the range of HTC 4G phones to come out.

I seriously need an OS upgrade for Android, I'm running 2.3.3
