I dont get what you mean by oppourtunity lost?
Argentina is a very poor nation with low wages. Not sure im following the logic. The reason behind those old falcon models popularity was because they were cheap, tough, uncomplicated and bigger then what you would normally find in a poor country during the 1970s/80s. People here in Australia today love their XM/XPs etc for the same reason... easy to work on, simple, fun....

Opportunity's lost I think are more like Turbo Territory's to the Middle East or Falcons, imagine a car with the same name as a bird so highly revered in the UAE that it has it's own hospital to care and research plus has anyone seen the overall metal structure above the carpark to the Dubai racetrack and Meydan Hotel. https://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=du...+Emirates&z=16

A December 2010 report - I guess it was most likely discussed soon after.
