Default 3.45 LSD gears in single spinner 3.08 housing??

Hey guys just wondering if gears out of a 3.45 LSD au diff will fit in a au single spinner with 3.08 gears??

id say yes as long as theyre both same diffs ie live axle or IRS

I've heard the 3.08 diffs have a smaller housing compared to the higher ratios look in the au section under the definitive diff thread
