Question Alfa and Fiat TV Advertising

Alfa and Fiat are heavily advertising on tv..Fiat only has one car, the 500 and Alfa 2, Mito and Guilletta. They must be really trying to get their cars noticed ????

Expect more of it, Fiat will be introducing more models in the OZ market this year. They're really going to be pushing the brand.

I still think Fiat is pushing the proverbial uphill in Oz, to get past their inner-city, cafe latte campari-and-soda demographic.

I notice that the new distributor (Chrysler?) has lowered prices substantially on the Arbath, but it is still a big ask for what the punter gets, even though the Australian import is the upgraded Esseesse model.

I assume the target is the Mini, and I guess the Mini Cooper S is more expensive. But it offers more - unless a new Fiat is in the pipeline.

The new Fiesta ST won't make the market easier for either the Mini or the Fiat.

The Arbath is a great little car, but priced in hot hatch territory.

BMW/Mini have a whole buyer experience that Fiat can't possibly match unless they plan on running at a loss for the next 3 years.

Mmm...thanks for the warning. The Missus has been taking an interest in Minis lately. Better steer her elsewhere.

She'll get invited to "Exclusive" events organised by BMW/Mini, private circ de sola (sorry about the spelling) shows and so on.

You'll be surrounded by other mini gurus and chat about inner city restaurants, global warming and how to transfer balances from 1 maxed out credit card to another.
