Default Scumbag car & dog thief gets goal

http://www.thechronicle.com.au/news/...reach/2118099/

Gday all,
I swear I put my 2 cents to a new thread today about the above character who steals cars & dogs from a posted newspaper clipping about his wasted life. It has seemed to disappear from the pub talk. Anyone saw it.

It is quite amazing how some threads can dissapear entirely, while others get edited and warnings issued by certain moderators and the posts left there .. whatever brings the traffic in eh ??

Pretty sure it happens. Wouldn't be the first time I've looked at a thread at 1am while I'm fighting to stay awake. Next day I go looking but it's not there anymore...mmm?

Also just use the word "Jail". I don't agree with much of the spelling in the U.S but I hate the English stuff even worse sometimes!

Not sure what this threads about now. But as far as my dogs go......I'd near kill someone who tried stealing or hurting them. Not that they can't look after themselves tho (ridge backs and bull Arabs)

huh?
some guy goes around re badging and nick cars and dogs and we all say how we feel
basically the guy needs a kick in the balls

and the threads deleted??
mods mustve thought one of us would be waiting outside jail for him when he gets out to enact some type of payback for an entire county of car lovers

No lets leave rocket science to the new commodore manufacturers, not car & dog enthusiasts. Point taken thou, a pull up sunshine, delete post would of sufficed & close the thread if it was offensive or incited something the forum charter does not condone. Hope he has a merry ****ing Christmas anyway

You can't blame the forums for trying to avoid legal issues. But I think its pretty clear that most people are dissatisfied with the punishment criminals receive. It is odd that this does not translate into harsher penalties over time, given that we are supposed to be a democracy.

I often wonder how some criminals survive given the anger some of their crimes generate. How do pedos get out and not end up facing several bloodthirsty relatives of the victims? It is a mystery to me. I can only assume society and the legal system protects them more than it did their victims.

Perhaps there needs to be a forum where this kind of thing can be discussed? Maybe there is already I might go look. After having several things stolen from me lately I am in the mood for change.

I do not blame the Mods danmc for this action, just haven't seen a thread disappear in 15 mins before that's all. The last thing I would want is to create an issue that affects any or all AFF users. My second response was, did the thread actually get posted in the first placed in which it did. My response certainly was not aimed at anyone but the OP in which I understand he been named & convicted and is public knowledge from a newspaper clipping. I do see there could be ramifications for what was posted about this subject & fair enough. Venting your frustrations is a common human condition lately, but there is a line & I understand that. All good, please close the thread moderators
