Default AU series 2 Rear Tail lights

can someone tell me how to replace the bulb in my drivers side rear tail lght. i have not long purchased the car and have not yet bought a work shop manual. Thanks fo ya help

You'll have to remove the entire taillight - 2 screws near the bootlid side (take a look at it and youll see what I mean), and one plug that pushes in near the corner of the taillight where it meets the rear quarter if you get me. Undo the 2 screws, then carefully pull the taillight out (it will take a bit of work), then you can get to the loom - unscrew the caps, remove bulb and replace.

ok ill have a go at it sounds tricky. i like the old XF tailight Bulbs they were easy to replace you never had to take the whole tail llght out. im guessng the bulbs used in the au falcons are standard and not diffrent.

its really not that hard. Much easier than the EA-ED tail lights. All the screws are accessible without the need to remove other panels.

About a 1minute job.

yeah, standard bulbs. it sounds harder than it is.

I have found the 2 screws facing the boot lid.then there are two bolts with nuts on them do i undo these? on the back of my tail light there are two plugs going into the tail light from the boot. do these just pull out?
