Coat the rim with Stag or Permatex. Find yourself a socket that fits inside the lip of the welsh plug (never use a pointy object!!). Use a heavy hammer or dead-blow & firmly hit the socket, making sure the welsh plug goes in nice & square. Keep hitting until the plug lip is flush with the block. Easy. Also check the other welsh plugs, if one's gone then the others won't be far behind. Mal.
