The car is a JMM customer car, and yes, it ran 14.2. Amazing wat happens when people listen to what Brenden has to says. The car is a DEV5 AU, with Brendens add-ons and tricks..

The car is an AU Forte, 3.9 diff, dev 5 kit and unichip tuned at JMM...Is running the JMM 3000 series stall which helped drop .2 os 60 foot times now runs 2.0 60 foots as far as I know may be a little less. The car typically runs street tyres but the boys are playing with different tyres now.

So 3.9 diff and your stall should be fine for my AU and a first 1/4 mile?

There is hope for us AU Auto drivers who like a bit of strip action then!

3.9's and a high stall and a dev5 kit with a unichip.

So I have a bit more money to spend to get there well lets just see what we can do.

Well you will never know till you try it. We could all guess some times based on the car and the dyno numbers but its not the same as trying it out for yourself.

As a guess low 14's or better with practise.

3.9 open wheeler or LSD?

Why would an LSD change how a car acts in a straight line?

too much power going through 1 drive wheel. much easier to break traction on that 1 wheel

Lets say you have a car with 180rwkw.

Open Wheel Centre
All 180rwkw are put to the ground by 1 wheel. 180kw wont have much trouble spinning 1 wheel in a straight line.

LSD CENTRE
All 180rwkw are put to the ground by 2 wheels. Therefore you have twice as much effective traction.

When using a high stall convertor, you launch the car in its power band. When you hit the rear wheels with a high amount of power they will spin. It can only compared to dropping a clutch at a given rpm.

If you drop a clutch at 3000rpm, will the back wheels spin????
Thats the same as using a 3000rpm stall.

Hope that makes sense.

LUKE
