Depends on what look you want. If your going to be changing the kit and modding it up, then yeah go new badges. But if your trying to stick with a sleeper look, remove the badges altogether or replace them with new ones of the same type. My old badges started fading so I replaced them with the same badges but new. Just a thought

Some of the New badges do look good. What Mrngo says is right though, NEW original badges can do the trick to make your appreciation warm again?

I wouldn't have a problem with it, some people do however, it just comes down to personal preference and whether with looks good. In some cases no badge looks better or cleaner

seen a few ef/el's with BA falcon badges...
not bad since they're a little smaller and can still hide the holes from behind the badge.

I have an AU front Ford badge! That's simply because all the chrome was peeling off my EA one and it looked pretty ordinary. The AU one is slightly smaller but it takes an eagle eye to notice that it doesn't completely fill the the oval shaped recess on the bonnet.

hmm..ive seen VS/VP's with new S/SS badges and it looks stupid, they are too big; suits the VT/VZ as they are a wider car though.
Depends on the badge. New XR6 badges looks FU(KING stuuuupid on older cars, they are pretty damn big, i ahve not seen one non BA that looks good with them.

I replaced the 4.0 litre badges on my EB with tickford wings... it looks smooth as, admittedly there is no tickford work on my car, but nobody knows that... shhh it just cleans the car up a lot

it's alright as long as the badge matches the car eg. xr6 = xr6 badges. can't see anything wrong with that, but tickford wings on a non tickford model just isn't cool
