Default Eseries Boys Trip To Bathurst

Well as some may know Easprint, Sprint_ed (Son of Gus), Miss Gunns and myself. Went up to Bathurst for the great race in the SVO.
Leaving Wednesday night and getting to the Mount at about 9:00am Thursday. We setup the tents and and started drinking. Followed by more drinking. And more Drinking. It was hard to know where the drinking stopped and the racing started.
Friday we stat and watched qualifying and saw Lowndes clock the 2nd fastest lap of bathurst ever. The day was toped by a walk through the pit padock, when we saw Larry Perkins and Sprint_ed rips out a "Hey Larry" (waiting for him to turn around) "Your Sh*t" and the look on his face was gold.
Saturday saw Miss Gunns wining and personal pit tour by Craig Lowndes for us all (This was the highlight of the weekend). It was also great watch him an hour after sticking it on pole for the race. This was celebrated with lots of drinking. I got trashed on 1/2 a bottle of Absynth, and the wine, Turkey, Cougar, and Johnny kept following for the others. (yes funny pics will be posted).
Sunday saw Effalcon come up for the day and we watched the race from the 1st corner. The race was a bit of a downer, we all were praying for a Ford win, but is wasn't to be. More drinking was done to forget the days events.
Monday saw us pack up and load the trailer for the trip home, but not before cutting a lap of the Mountain. While driving, about 1/2 hour out of Bathurst Easprint gets a call saying he has won a hot lap with Craig Lowndes in December and is being flown up for it.
On the way home just outside Coutamundra, time 2pm, the good old T5 would not select gears. After a quick call to Brenden at JMM to try and workout what was the problem, it was concluded the the diaphram in the NEW MONTH OLD clutch had colapsed. After getting on to RACV / NRMA, the car was towed back to Coutamundra and a new clutch was orgaised through Repco. Before I go on I would like to point out that the NRMA Garage in Coutamundra suck ***, they said they would have it done by midday the next day, so feel free to break windows and damage anything you like. These tossers had the car for 2 hours on Monday and didn't lift a spanner. Thank God for RACV Total care put us up in a motel for the night and lots of drinking was done at the local RSL.
Tuesday we went back to the garage to see what was worng with the car. The clutch bolts to the flywheel had come loose and the dowles had all snaped, the thrust bearing had shatered and input shaft was fu*cked. They had all the parts at 11am to fix it all. Now I don't know about you, but it doesn't take 6 hours to put the it all back together. So at 5pm and $665 later after being quoted $550 in the morning I was rather **** but glad to be going home. 12am saw us reach Melbourne and 1:30am before I got to sleep after dropping everyone at home.
It was a great trip and look forward to doing it all again next year.

Wait for the pic's

with that much damage wouldn't it have made a huge racket? Sure they didn't try and "test" drive before fixing?

Great pics.

Nope not a chance of a "test drive", Didn't make any noise that we could hear over the engine.

I had a bolt come loose in my EA, the result was a very violent shudder through the pedal.

Great pics guys.
