There's a place on Burgundy Street, Heidelberg, it's like a costume/fancy dress shop, sells 'em for like <$10. Dunno if they're any good, just plain straw ones they are..
Or if you go to Taco Bills in Templestowe they have a deal on where if you buy a fishbowl margarita (1.4 litre margarita) for like $22 for a fruit one or $30+ for a liqueur one they give you a free sombrero. This is the option i'd recommend. :baby bott : I'd ring Taco Bills first, make sure they have the deal still on, was a month or so ago my girlfriend got one, and not all Taco Bills have the free sombrero's. And before you ask why i know so much about sombrero's, after a boozy dinner at above mentioned restaurant with the better half and getting a free sombrero, been a bit of a long running joke we've had amongst my friends, having a bit of a mexican fad, and gotta love a restaurant that serves tequilla in 1.4L glasses... Good luck on your sombrero hunt, amigo. it: |

I don't mind a sombrero but I hate them at crowded sports events because people behind have no chance of seeing. Nothing worse than finding a good vantage point and someone comming and sitting/standing in front of you with one on.

I recall a night which started at Taco Bills, drinking and eating hard... they brought out sombreros for all of us, and that was the beginning of the end. We went on to tequila shots, doing speedy gonzales renditions and waking up with stonking hangovers the next day.

Heh try having a south american girlfriend.. every time there's alcohol involved in any event or even a few drinks on a friday.. the tequila comes out..
I swear my liver regrets me hooking up with her :P When we get married it'll probably rip it's way out and leave me in disgust. |
