I was thinking of getting a cam fitted i was looking at the stage 3 crow but that would also mean i would have to get a chip installed aswell.
what sort of cam would be best suited for a EL XR6 auto? would i be better getting a cam that doesnt require a chip or getting one that does? i do have pace maker extractors fitted already and bigger air intake thats the only mods so far. any advice will be helpful thanks xrmte |

The other thing is that you will lose any idle quality you had by fitting a lumpy cam... Having said that I had an EL that made 138 at the treads with a Crow St-3... I tried other cams before and after that, but it was good bang for buck. Also I would say get the rest of your exhaust replaced with a sports system as well... Crow sell a complete Cam, Chip & Exhaust package if I remember rightly

Had a cam in my EL Fairmont Ghia, with unichip and exhaust and Herrods never did get that running well. Not sure what type though. Was only getting 130rwkw, I am sure Jim Mock can do tons for better for less!!!
