That is what Wheels believes the VE will look like. They grafted styling ideas from the Torana concept onto a disguised VE mule. I wouldn't take these photoshop efforts too seriously.

I think it looks a similar shape to the Subaru Liberty, especially with the shape of the tail lights.

I can tell you from fact.. that what you see in the Wheels Mag is within 90% Accurate..

There is not much that they have left out..

I think the car on the BF atm.. i have seen it in the flesh in Lang Lang and i think i would take one of those over a BF any day!!

I am a die hard ford man but they look hot..

I believe the magazine photoshopped the front like an artists impression, and just photoshopped the black off of the rest of the car. Looks terrible. I think that Holden has gone for the subtle styling and failed.

The computer versions are pretty poor renditions.
Check out the door opening shape and C pillar in the main pic on page 18 (nice slim straight pillar, nicely shaped door and rear quarter window)
and and compare to the actual cammo-paint pic below it. Fat pillar, almost straight door opening, wide metal around the curvey door - more like current commy.
Same with the bottom of A pillar and bonnet join.
The computer version looks heaps different and better then the actual camoflage car.

God you people are retards, take your blue hats off for 5 minutes and wait for the cammo-less spy pics.

Yeah, none of us are gonna buy a Holden, but for crying out loud. Besides, a big old Astra isnt visually that unappealing.

Didn't wheels do another story about the VE some time ago, the red SS and all that?

Anyway, 6 metre statesman? Wow.

Like I said in another post I hope Holden will do well, as it will make Ford work harder and not complacent as with previous cars. Ask anyone, competition is a good thing.

I'm not conviced that car really is the next Commodore. It was photgraphed at a GM testing ground in the US and it may not even be a Holden.

It looks more like a Vectra to me.

I think it is the next Commodore otherwise why would they have a whole article on it if it was a Vectra or something?

I bought the wheels mag today and from the looks of things it looks way better then the VY-VZ.

Also remember these wont be launch until like next August-September so theres probably alot of things that need to be fixed before the final product is released.
