Default opinions on this

I have a spare x-series coupe turret (read roof) and I have been struck with the desire to fit it to an e-series. Obviously doors and other stuff would need to be modified to fit the new style but anyone think it might be worthwhile...Even just for the wtf factor?

would be damn interesting...someone care to do a photoshop??

you'd wanna be careful with how it was excecuted, otherwise it could look like an abortion...
before you start, i'd measure it all up properly......... ive got a feeling the coupe's are a bit wider than the eseries.......

E-series are actually wider than any earlier Falcons.

Would be good to see a photoshop, it would certainly look 'different'.....

u mean replacing the whole roof? with an x-series one? cant be done IMO, windscreen is dif, doors, widening/lengthened, not worth it in the end i think

I was thinking leave it 4 door with standard front doors (maybe lengthen a little)but reverse opening rear doors ala RX8 ??
I think i would only do it as an exercise in body modification. I don't think I would go to the trouble of gettng it legal and on the road.
Have to finish EAV8 first. Then maybe do some more on XB coupe. Then MAYBE consider this if I can find a donor e-series shell.

of course it can be done, but late roof onto early would work alot better than an early roof on a late car.

would be interesting to see, but not in a good way i think.... (just my opinion)

How bout some front doors (reversed, suicide too) to replace the rear doors? That'll give a good C-pillar angle.

And black out the B-pillar :P

The only bugger would be the rear wheel arch...

good to see there are some positive views as well as the hmm maybe not views. looks like the DO IT! 's have it so far. Will put it on my play list and see how it comes up.

Anyone wanna do a couple of photo chops to give some inspiration? 1 with 2 doors (maybe scorcher with coupe roof) and one with the 4 door (shortened suicide rear lengthened front). I don't have the knowledge of photoshop to do it myself.

Looking at my Coupe next to the Fairlane in the driveway I reckon it'd look ugly as sin.
