hey mate
I put a black rhino alarm with power central locking in a ford escort about 8 years ago.Occaisionally it would do weird, sporadic things such as door locks " twitching" whilst driving, alarm chirping etc. I tracked it down to the earth I had on the body of the car.Twice I had to clean it up, the second time I wet and dried the contact area and put vaseline on it to stop corrosion. Never had another problem. Apparently bad earths are no.1 fault for auto electricians and car alarms. Might be worth checkin yours out. |
