There it is in all its glory, over the last two days I managed to achieve: Kingsprings Super Lows and courtesy of EDMonty XH Snorkel, AUIII clear repeaters and Colbalt Blue rear lip spoiler. This is a year after I went amber free with the front indicators. Hopefully down the track I'll be able to get my hands on some ace rims, either AUII Tickford 17's or BA XR 18's.

I know they've been done to death, but EL GTs always look good on cobalt cars too!

Looks good mate.
Don't forget that au and ba rims are not designed to e series cars they have different off sets. Ian

AUII's look great, a gold EB up the street has them on. You can get aftermaket BA XR rims that might fit an e series. I came across a 351W EB project recently either in this forum or another that had them. Can't seem to find the thread again. But like EDXR6T says you can always run adapters if they won't fit...

wheelsdirect.com.au for E Series offset late model Falcon rims. Spacers are naughty in some states, so it's your call.
Either way, she looks swoit! |

I've heard about the adapters, but are they legal in NSW? I've got my eyes on the EL GT rims as well but, I don't know about the Gold. But does anyone know were to get those AUII rims? I too heard ages ago of someone making those to fit E-Series cars.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll try and keep that hot e-series flame burning up here in the Mountains, after I saw a black ED XR6 being neglected, missing left hand mirror, cracked windscreen, unpainted grey front bumper and cracking paint work, such an awful sight. If I had a genuine Tickford product I'd baby it a bit.

But geez those Super Lows make a freakin difference, I've scraped it twice today at low speed, when I've never scraped before and the way the thing sits on corners is just great unlike the boat it was before and the more jiggy feel and the fact you can feel the road. Awesome.
But I can't help and feel the dread that one day my lowering will be ammunition enough for some knuckle dragger to yell garbage at me at some lights somewhere from the confines of a VL Commonwhore.

You can put a request into admin in the site support section I think to have your name changed.. but hey, the car might not be perfect yet (in your eyes), but I am sure a little bit of work to the paint and she will look fantastic.
