Default Trying to locate a Moffat Front bar

Howdy Folks

Im trying to get my hands on a Moffat HO front bar for the car. Now I knew that TKFD6 told me that Fibretech Styling in campbellfield sold them and so far have been the only ones that seem to sell them.

Unfortunatly they wont sell them unless it is painted and fitted there at $600:togo: because apparently they dont want anyone copying there bars (yees im going to run out and make a mould and run them out of business since it took me 20mins to get them to find the bar in question since they didnt know what i was talking about in the first place)

Now as they wont sell it "raw" or primed im stuck with either choosing another front bar or sourcing one from another place. Does anyone else know of somewhere that sells them? Sadly AWC doesnt :(

Or is there a bar that looks simular. I think ADXR8 in QLD had a GT bar with a sprint kit but im not sure how that would look.

thanks

I've seen the Moffat bar on the SSV website. I know you can buy one unpainted. You should be able to get them to send one down for you... or ROADTRIP!

im in the exact same process of getting one of them, im waitin for a reply from them, i spoke to them last week, they said, yea, i know the 1, i should be able to do it, would take 3 or so weeks, but had moved premises and had to track down the mould... im hanging to hear back, since its the nicest front bar ive seen, i like the way you retain the factory top section, and it appears to be a perfect bar to cover my cooler with...

ill give them another ring tomorrow, and yea, thats was from the gruppea site, he said last one they did a couple of years ago was about $370-400, fair price

It will look great. I had the bar without side skirts and it looks good. I have a couple pics of my EB in the gallery.

perhaps contact them in reguards to a bit of a group buy?
see if they'll sell it unpainted if you're buying multiple.
if you were that keen on copying it, you could do it with a painted version anyway, but if you just wanted to copy it you wouldn't wanna buy multiple.
worth a try i guess.
