Anyone struck unusual part numbers? My T3 engine has the 82mm throttle body which ford and the data base say should be 9E926 A but mine is 9E927 AB with an aftermarket engraved number 28 after the batch details. Ford says cant be right but it is. anyone struck these anomolies before or did I just ask the wrong people at ford.

Partt numbers on parts are not always the right ones. The numbers that are engraved in parts are ENGINEERING numbers and NOT always numbers that Spare Parts uses. That's more likely the problem here? Don't forget, majority of parts for V8's come from America. They do NOT always use the SAME numbers we do here in OZ.
