before i do it what is involved with putting in new shocks and springs in the front of my ea : i have done the rear but i cant get it level as the pass side sits higher.wat the

Unbolt the wishbone, lower control arm (LCA), sway bar mount, then the 3 bolts at the top of the strut in the engine bay, then the bottom of the strut.
To get the springs off when the strut assy (spring and shock) is on the bench you'll need a pair of spring compressors. Then when the compressors are on and doing their job, undo the nut at the top of the shock. How much higher does the passenger side sit? Did you measure it on dead flat concrete? Ground slope/bumps make a big difference in ride heights when you measure them. The passenger side spring might not be sitting in one of it's rubber bushes properly, that will make it sit higher too. Did you change the rear springs or shocks? Shocks don't effect ride height much, springs do, they could be old and sagging.

How long have the rears been in. They may need time to settle - although this doesnt usually result in different heights between pass/driv side...

put them in two days ago but i havent driven it yet the front shocks and springs are stuffed if that would put the rear out
|
