Hello all,
Does anyone know the availibility of 95+ RON petrol in Tassie. Having been there before, but only required normal 91 RON for the hire AU last time, I have no idea if I'll be able to get decent petrol in the (almost) deserted South West corner. Anyone done a lap of Tassie in recent times? I am going over there late August to mid September. Any advice appreciated! Thanks, BA_Turbs

In tassie you can pretty much get 95 ron everywhere, but there isnt much chance in getting 98 at all, unless you homebrew...

I realise I will probably go ok in Launy and the 'Bart, its more out in the sticks I'm worried about, that was why I was wondering if anyone has driven a lap in the near past? The car doesn't mind a sip when booted and the roads over there certainly lend themselves to being tackled with an aggressive style... In those hills 350 kms to a tank is probably realistic.

Youn can't get 98 from a pump in Tas . You can buy it in drums from a couple of places.
95RON Premium is available at every servo, so if you can't run lower than 98, stock up on the Nulon Pro Strength, because you'll need it.
