Got this citroen come into work the other week, only just got photos of the gearbox today, this is what happens when you loan your citroen to your teenage son.
Nothing but a few remnants of the planetary gears, most of it would of ended up on the road... I'm beginning to dislike european cars. Pictures aren't fantastic, damn camera phone. Enjoy.

planetary gears in a manual box?????
anyway looks like the pressure plate granaded and made a big mess, seen one granade in an xr6t once, completely smashed the bell housing to the point where it was no longer attached to the engine, even shot bits of pressure plate through the floor pan, luckily enough the carpet caught it... |

The pinion gears blew apart and got caught up in the clutch and flywheel, hence the circular marks and holes... had nothing to do with the clutch exploding...
I'll get some more pics tomorrow.

The question that begs to be asked is, how can you own a Cit-whatever AND father a son? Well, I only asked!! Must be one of those "alternative lifestyle" types. That or a SNAG.
BTW, how many nuts hold the wheels on? I thought most French cars relied on 3. Steve (Remembering Agincourt) |

the guy paid way too much for it (second hand) and unfortunatly it's getting fixed under warranty (ASWN) The air suspension is cool though...

One of my mates dad owned a small citroen, not sure what sought but he did a bit of work to it and it was a great car. It handled and accelerated good for a 4 cyl.
