Seeing your old cars gettin a hiding

I tradded my old XR6 in on the TE anyhow a gal bought it that works in a shop next to my work> Anyhow her b/f/partner drive it to and he flogs the guts out of it i hardly ever spun it up and everywhere he goes he always flogs it its been converted to gas aswell. Am i alone or does anyone else have any similar stories about their old cars, i get kinda sad seeing it drivin like that
