Default Holesaw City

Time to get out the holesaw, im sick of muckin around with poxy second rate cai's. Im cuttin a hole under the air box and doin it the proper way. Least i know its gonna work 100% no squashed pipe, straight path, perfect and almost free. Have to work just as good or better than a 300 ss intake or some other expensive brand :the_finge

Im getting the 3inch exhaust pipe flared tomorrow, that will be the adapter to the box. the rest is just time and the cost of the holesaw. I was really reluctant to butcher my car but it seems there is no other way on a non xr. ill let you know how it goes : hey twisted wot kind of au do u have?

BLUESTREAK built 5.2L flat-plane-crank VOODOO with 3.2L Intercooled Kenne Bell blower, 1000rwhp/746rwkw @ 8000rpm @ 20psi on E85. Built ZF with BLUESTREAK 2C Circle D converter. Unbloodybelievable...

Yay finally got it sorted. Ended up routing the pipe through the same hole as the carbon canister and purge solinoid lines go through. Opened up the hole to fit the pipe through , put rubber hose on the sharp edges. I wanted to put the pipe directly under the box but it got in the way of the plastic guard cover under the guard so its most direct path was to the passengers side and out directly to the air deflector at the bottom of the bumper. Im assuming this will direct air into the pipe. Had to get more memorex pipe coz 1 was too short. Joined em in the middle with 3in exhaust pipe. Now i wait for the silicone to dry on the airbox{plugged up all the other attempts at cai} I found that the path to the box was longer ,but not restricted and squashed like other ways so i think i may have finally got it right. Cant wait to get it back down the drags, i want my 14 second pass!!!!!!!!!!! :
