Does anyone know how i can archive an entire site? I am expecting a period of no internet access next year and as such would like to download some medical content that i have online access to onto my computer, note that its really huge amounts of info and that i dont want to be goin to each site individually and converting to pdf.
If anyone knows how i can archive for example everything that start with fordforums.com.au and all its extensions eg fordforums.com.au/example and fordforums.com.au/otherexample all in one hit that would be really handy. im running IE7 Thanks |

I use one called HTTrack. Does a pretty good job and has options for things like if it should follow links to external sites or just stay within the site your are downloading from.

tried that and it apparently mirrored the website but as soon as i tested it without my connectin it complained i wasnt connected. i also forgot to mentino that the website requires a proxy access (which im allowed to and have access to the passwords etc legitemately (sp?)

HTTrack is good.
Another one worth checking is apparently Free Download Manager. It's small and I use it for downloading large files but it also has this functionality.
