Default Roads of the world

Just thought that this would make an interesting subject, some roads in Bolivia, perhaps you could post your own more astounding pics.

Thanks mate, you've cured me of any further anxiety about Berowra Waters Road.

F.......ar out, I don't think my sense of vertigo will allow me to return to this thread. Sweat is pouring off my palms. Are the trucks equipped with ejector seats/parachutes?

I got that one that goes through the edge of he cliff in an email the other day, the title said it was in Russia. Wherever it was makes you wonder how much trouble they went to build it.

I have a mate who went to Bolivia a few years back and did a tour on one of these roads, the bus he was on had dodgy brakes and the track was 2 lane but not wide enough for 2 to pass on 85% of it. At one stage a tree blocked the track and they stopped for an hour to cut through it with machetes- then the driver was going faster as he was behind schedule while he announced that there were on average 1 bus a week that had a crash off the cliff

What I find funny about this, is that the TV's on the incoming side are facing the outgoing traffic.. Do they look in their rear views to watch TV? =P

Probably double sided screens.... Dubai is unbelievebly rich.

Hafeet Mountain Road rings a bell as a great road...
