Well i always stick my car in the driveway as i cannot fit it into the garage with the boat, gym kit and my old mans ZD being in the double garage already. So basically im forced to leave it in the driveway. The previous owners of my car use to garage it all the time and seeing that i just leave it in my driveway am i really a bad owner?
The car has been keep in pretty good nick since i got but i have been noticing some scratches on the boot and bonnet in particular!. I couldnt work out how it was happening until one day i caught two cats on the car, leaving scratch marks on the bonnet. I have come to terms that i cant protect the car at my home unless i wrap it up in glad rap every night. I wouldnt mind hearing where everyone stores there car at home, and a breif description of the condition would be good to. cheers |

In 2 years of spray paintage my car's only spent 10 or so nights out in the cold, otherwise it's in the garage. You can't keep your paint schmicko parking outdoors I reckon, no way.

I voted everything. Before my garage was a garage it used to be a carport, then after the carport got a garage door put on, and it became a garage, whilst that was happening the car stayed in the driveways a few nights. and on one occasion left it front of the house parked on side, hence other

Mine lives in the garage. Wouldn't have it any other way. I have 5 cars in the family, mine and mum's new car get the garage.
My next house only has a carport :(

Garaged at home, swipecard access underground carpark at work and undercover/enclosed carpark at uni, the only time it sees the outside is when its on the road.
Although it spent its first night in the 3 years i have owned it outside last night because my brothers EF power window cable funked up so he couldnt put his window up and had to garage it... |

Unfortunately I live in an apartment block with offstreet parking but not undercover. The local neighbourhood cats love to sit on the hood of the cars in winter after our return. At this stage I have no other option.Maybe at a later date so Yes Erin...I can identify with your problem.

When my dad saw my car for the first time when I lived at home,in his words "thats too good to stay outside" "we'l have to build you a carport for it". 1 month later, carport was built and my car went in the garage and 1 of mum and dads cars went in the carport.I was pretty lucky. Now since moving out its sits pride of place in our garage.

Mine usually sits either in the driveway or on the street, depending on whether I beat my housemate for the driveway or not! I do have a garage but it is nearly impossible to get a Falcon into it. I tried a few times at the start of the year but nearly ripped off one of my mirrors when I caught it on a tree. The driveway is too narrow near the garage, but what makes it worse is that there is a bend in the driveway, meaning I have to steer in a section of driveway a couple of centimeters wider than the car without swinging the nose into anything. Understandably I gave up.
When I'm back at my parents at Maffra on the other hand, I get the carport! Even though my car is usually parked in the open, my paint is still looking really good. I wipe off any bird poo that gets on it with a wet rag, and it's showing no signs of fading
