Default Question RE AU headlights

Hi guys - sorry if this is in the wrong place and sorry if it's already been covered (I did a search but couldnt find what I was looking for).

Do all Au series (ie. Series I - II and III) XR's all have the same headlights? And more importantly the same headlight protectors? My aunt wants to buy some headlight protectors for my cousin and doesnt know what series it is.

Thanks in advance.

they are al the same shape - so the protectors will fit no dramas across all 3 series. However the only difference in the colour of the bezel. Im not 100% but i think...

series 1 has a fully chrome internal bezel
series 2 - a light grey bezel?
series 3 - dark grey bezel?
t-series - black bezel.

Correct me if im out guys, coz im not 100% ta

with the XR's im not sure if they are the same. i believe that series one only had the "eyebrow" over the low beams, whereas series 2 and 3 had "eyebrows" over both liights (high and low beam)

although i could be wrong :

I am pretty sure you are right there Henri.
This is the only difference ... and it might make a difference in the design of the highlight protectors as well.

Yeah the headlight itself is the same but the front bar isnt, meaning that Series I use a different type of covers as opposed to Series II and III.
