Man, what a stack, 10,000 HP (yes 10k HP not a misprint) : :

front right hand tyre blew out at 460 somethign klm per hour in the car.
I think it was jet powered or something, then he lost control and rolled it and his head hit the roll bar and ground causing brain damage, which he appears to have recovered ok and is back on the show which is great news.

I dont know if anyone else saw it, but no doubt theres probably a link to it on the net somewhere !

I saw it too, he seemed a bit slow and slurred in his speech. Looked like quite an accident, apparently his head dug into the ground along with the rollbar.

The whole 1st episode of the 9th series is available for download from most decent torrent sites. Hampster seems to be in very good nick considering he was knocking on death's door. If you didn't know he'd been in such a wreck you wouldn't know it by looking at him.

The last part was rather poignant with Jeremy saying, 'speed kills' and they pan the camera to Hampster.
