Very cool. If there was a bigger version I'd print it out and put it at work.

Is that a real photo? It looks incredible.

Either way, has anyone got a link to the 4mb version? I want to get it printed and framed for my room - the bigger the better.

The guys on ls1 are saying it's a photoshop, one of them opened it in a program which gave the origin of the saved file- in photoshop. Apparently the comet tail is going the wrong direction or something

Although it could of been edited in photoshop to alter the light or touch up some areas to make the quality better etc

I'm almost 100% certain that pic is fake... granted a damn bloody good one.

I was at skyshow and i will admit, completely and utterly off my frikkin tits and even in my increadibly alchohol induced state am DAMN sure that there was no lightning storm and also that the comet wasn't visible or even around that nite, tho granted i could be wrong on that one.

I had to work, but my dad watched the fireworks from the beach and he said the lightning show was better than the actual fireworks.. so there was a big lightning storm.. fake or not... awesome pic!

I had an email somewhere with that in it, its just three images overlaid. You get the software to do it when you buy a half decent camera.

If you look at the people sitting on the beach you can see some bits dont line up.
Plus the sun sets over the ocean in WA, so it wouldnt be lighter closer to land than it is over the ocean, doesnt matter how much cloud is around.

Nice image anyway.
