Good stuff, I'm glad it wasn't trashed too bad. Get some insurance, even if you pay by the month, which a lot of companies do now days.

Well the first order was a length of 10mm galv chain and a flaming big padlock,
through the seat frame, round the handbrake and looped through the steering wheel. Next will be some theft insurance, the rest comes when we can afford it. As for God smiting the pricks, only after I've finished with them! We do know some things, the person who drove the car was small, not more than 5ft tall is my guess, the seat was wound up to max height and the mirrors were way down, the car was left at Westfield Marion, less than 2kms away but has travelled 50 to 70kms so they live local. I know where the local young hoons live and there is a new set moved in last year, I'm a patient man and revenge is best served cold. Now off to check if anyone is selling a stereo that plays mp3's Regards Prof. Rabbit Quote:

Prof, there's cheap ways to keep your car safe, you can spend from 2 bucks to 50 bucks, you can stop the juveniles from taking your car... You can spend more, but it's up to you!

get a kill switch installed, and hide it very well. Better than any chain and padlock.

ultra loud sirens IN the car are good too. theres ones around that will make you throw up and want to leave the car in less than 10 seconds of getting in.
the net is a wonderful thing! |

awesome that you have your car back. Kill switch is a good idea, just make sure that when u sell the car, you tell the next owner. A mate of mine bumped his kill switch while cleaning under the seat. He didn't know it had a switch. He couldn't start the car, so he got a mechanic to come onsite, the guy was there for about 6 hours till he found the switch. would prevent a theft I reckon.
