They would be fine. Being a Series 1, means it is probably a 1999 or a 2000 model. And the amount of kms a T-Series would travel, would mean, that they wouldn't go through that much use.
I myself, would clean them up, good, and get a new pin kit. Cheers

Would it be better for me to upgrade to the S2 brakes as they sit at the front of the wheel or would they be the same?

Go for the T-Series Brakes. No messing around, they should just bolt straight on. Where as the S2 brakes, you need to spend an extra $1000 just to get them to fit on.
And not only that, but you get the added braking power of the larger disc. If money's an option, just go for the normal slotted discs. But it is worth it, especially for a Series I. $500 for the calipers is a good price. If you need new pads and rotors, expect to pay another $800-1k. Cheers

Series 1 brakes are 329mm rotors with Tickford callipers. No options
Series 2 brakes are standard falcon brakes, with option of 329mm rotors & Tickford callipers, as series 1 Series 3 brakes are 329mm rotors & Tickford callipers standard as series1, Brembo option..

So the twin piston T-series S1 calipers would fit on any series 1 AU model, just a bolt on ?
