Nankang Ultrasport NS2 40

not the best tyre out there, but best bang for buck. Probably the best thing to put on a Fiesta. I have noticed that the ContiContactSport's that came off the car had a fraction more grip in the wet....but after a few more drives on the Nankangs i will start to know the limitations.

They are louder though.....just means i have to have the stereo on 16 now (14 before) lol!!

16? goodness. I normally drive w/o music, seem to enjoy the driving more that way.

Ah Nankangs. Damo (MISTA FIESTA) has them as well while I have Federal 595 (205/40R17) on my car.

Is yours 205/40R17 or 215/40R17 ?

Nice Zetec. Do Advanti make any others to fit the Fez? I like the look of Nitros or the ATV.

not sure if advanti make others to fit......you probably are all aware how unusual the stud pattern is on these cars....makes finding rims a little bit of a chore. I like these because the stick out from the rim about 5mm-7mm and increases the beef of the car...lol!

And yes the red bull car was placed for effect...lol!

Some more pics....ok i will put the camera away now.....she's a new car i will get over it soon!

You should get some black stripes.

Nice rims! but sorry if i sound a bit mean, but i reckon with 17" you have to get your fez lowered, or else it looks like, quoting from UKFN, a 4x4.....

lol....not nessesarily. depending on the rim. some wheels look larger than they actually are and you wont notice the arche space so much....if you own a WQ LX jsut get a set of WQ zetec springs. lower the car about 1.5cm.....lol....half of what a set of eibach and kings do... theres are normally 30ml....

But as you own a Zetec no need i say lol

its a WQ Zetec, but i want it lower. Going to buy Eibach online. These little cars handle so beautifully i would hate to upset that buy putting something generic on.

Yeah i had an option for a larger styled 17" that went all the way to the rim. I liked it but it was too 'flat'. i wanted something that came out from the wheel, just so that the wheel lined up with the arch. I have that now, so i'm happy!

I agree with the car needing to be lowered. With my 16's tyre combination I sit just higher than people with 17's and it looks way too high, will def be getting springs, Who wants to go 50/50 on shipping???

Well I take back what I said about the colour . It definitely looks nicer in person. It contrast nicely with the darkish wheels.

Nice ride mate, Missus has got a WQ LX in jeans blue and we are currently looking into soem aftermarket wheels in 17" or maybe even 18".
How far out is your speedo now with the larger wheels?

No difference as far as i can tell. If you went 22" (lol) then perhaps you would need to get it re-calibrated.

I would stick to 17" mate. These are only 1.6lt cars and the bigger the tyre the more weight your pushing and more work your engine will be doing.

But the 2lt XR4 on the other hand would handle 18" no probs. I think 17" fit beautifully on the car, the guards are massive so they will make any wheel look smaller than they actually are. But 17" are sporty/smart with out screaming at you.

Apparently someone said that the speedo will be out about 3km/h... however that's a positive thing since it makes it more accurate to the speedo reading. Cars from the factory mostly go slower than what the needle tells you.
