Default Wet Wet wet....

Jeez guys, you lot might be used to rain, but we sure aren't. I have lived out here for almost 10 years, and I have never seen it so wet. I just heard from a mate that the Alice will go onto flood alert again soon. Might get a few days off work!!

Yeah, some of that is heading our way tonight and tomorrow, although it's only showers predicted, not rain.

Some pics might heighten the experience for the rest of us...

Make sure you get some good pics if you can mate, the alice in flood is a great sight

I've heard Uluru is great after heavy rain but I spose that depends on access there

Thats for sure. Ayres rock, when all the hundreds of rock pools across the top flood and form a miriad of water falls is truly spectacular. Especially at sun rise and sun set. But it is a 900klm round trip from here, so I wont be getting any shots today!!

Pics would be great OBJ, nothing quite as surreal as flooded red earth.

Have some pics from a flooded tanami here somewhere, from about 18mnths ago... will see if i can dig them up...

Similar note... actually been raining in adelaide over last couple of days. Well... showers anyway.

I keep an eye on both BOM and Wheatherchannel websites regularly.

Some followup rain is meant to be on it's way .. my lawn mower hasn't had such a work out in a long time.

I just hope the rain gets to Western NSW and parts of Victoria where it needs it.

Sorry that was sarcasm, im only ****ed off because I cant clean my car with nice water.

Im in Geelong, not rural at all (depends on your definition I guess), and its bad enough here let alone in the country.
