Lol. Casper, you are a funny man. As for the actual problem, maybe a crappy load of fuel?

Sounds like a sensor problem I had in a company car once, mine started in the revs you mention but ended up just doing it when the throttle was more than half way down. It was the hall effect sensor IIRC, there was another one they changed at the time - I was told they usually do them in pairs. Was about $400 to fix from memory (it was an AUII Wagon).

My started surging and had a feeling of lost power around 2000-2500 RPM when my leads went up the creek.

When I saw the thread title I thought you might have been referring to your spelling or grammar :
As for the car trouble, I'd change the fuel filter, it's pretty cheap and easy to do yourself, and if you haven't ever done it it's probably due anyway. Good luck, I hope it's nothing too serious. |

a car I used to own did this, it was an inline fuel filter, a $6 part and ended up doing the clutch master cylinder from huge jerking up a hill (certainly livened me up in a hurry)
basically the filter couldnt pass the fuel required that the throttle was demanding and it was virtually like running out of fuel. But like others have said it could be a variety of things |

Funny, cos mines doning the exact same thing as stated here.......but only when its running on gas. And its only doing it or like the first 10 mins of the drive, then its fine.
Any ideas there. I have posted a thread in LPG forums too about this same thing, so if yous wana check that....would be a good help.
