Can I have your expert valued opinions. How much is it for a supplied and fitted EB series2 water pump. Thanks. I was quoted $300 ? |

there is a bit of work in it,,does it still have the hub fan,,if so then they need to take the radiator out,,remove the fan,,then the pump,,put it all back and fill and test it,,it would be cheaper if you supplied everything.

how would it be cheaper if you supplied everything ? a mechanic would get a trade discount from his supplier. Water pumps are about $60-70 and take an hour to change if you are not familiar with an e-series. so maybe $140 for a mechanic to do it @ $70 an hour.

I got a new water pump for my series2 for $60.00 from repco and fitted it myself. So i would think that 300 sound excessive.
