Default another one lowered :D

well i finaly lowered my car. after finding some cheap superlows i thought ill just spend the money and get it over with.

so today the good guys at norlane tyres fitted a camber kit, called me and told me the rear shocks wer shot so they installed new rear shocks. and fitted my springs.

and finally my car is not dezza spec.

before:

after:

im happy with it so far.
despite not being shortened shocks it rides better then it used to. i think the old shocks basically did nothing.
im a happy chappy now

yeah its nice, did you say you hardened the shocks as well? u do that handling is alot better, more of a sports car feel.....but yeah it looks good mate, and yeah get rid of the mudflaps, n when you put some bigger rims on it, it will look even lower,...just becareful of the speed humps:P

bigger rims is years off im to poor :P
the mud flaps are coming off when i get hold of a little screw driver. i had a look and it has broken the piece of plastic it is screwed into just from the couple of scrapes it has had.
and unfortunately i have no short screw drivers that i can find that will fit between the wheel and the screws.

you could see the difference better if the before shot was in the day time but oh well.

and speed humps will be annoying.
the speed humps at tafe scraped on stock height if i had even 1 person in the back. so now i will refuse to have anyone in the back.
other people there go over them with ultra lows in the back so i should be right as long as i dont carry anything in the back.

thanks.

anyone know what its worth and how much is involved to get the cat raised up a bit. the only part that is to low it the lowest part on the cat and the join at the cat to the exhaust.
only needs to be raised a couple of centimeters and there apears to be plenty of space.

i would wait untill i get extractors but thats a long way off.

could use some more perform mods to get anywhere near a decent time but shall see anyway. all depends on time and money to do anything at the moment.

got to spend bit more money and replace some balljoints or tie rod ends or something to fix a noise in the front right. hopefully it is fixed cheap and easy. then i will be happy.

decided to keep goin with paint. so heres one with out the classic sticker.

Yeah thats neatened it up very well mate with the spoiler and classic pin striping gone.

Heres a quick photochop I just did.

Tint, black B pillar, black rear door shroud, black mirror surround, Speedy graphite wheels, colour coded grey strips, black highlight, dump exhaust tip, clear repeaters, lightly tinted taillights with the amber section being darker.

Enjoy!
